This month's theme of the Joy of Sets blog hop is Anything Christmas Goes - which means we can show you anything Christmas related! I absolutely adore Christmas - I just turn into a big kid, I can't way to get our decorations up. I also adore sending out Christmas cards to friends and family - it's a great time of year to get in touch and catch up with those you don't speak to very often. I have to admit, I've left my cardmaking a bit to the last minute this year, so I came up with this super quick and easy card design which I know I will make a lot of!
To make this Christmas card, I used the Perfectly Plaid bundle and some aqua painters. The papers in this suite are gorgeous, so I took colour inspiration from them for my water washed background. The punch in this set makes it so quick and easy to cut the trees out. Navy, red and green are such traditional Christmas colours and I love how they look together. To make these in batch, I would do the waterwash background first (I used more ink than water as I wanted quite a strong colour look) and leave to dry while punching all the trees out.
