One of my favourite stamp sets from the Stampin' Up! Autumn/Winter catalogue has to be the Beautiful Baubles stamp set. It is just gorgeous - perfect stamps for colouring in and you don't need too many supplies to make beautiful Christmas Cards.
I used this stamp set for this weeks Coffee and Cards - it went down very well and we had a very therapeutic hour colouring in.
I stamped with Baubles with Staz On black ink as I wanted to colour in using Blends which are alcohol based. You can colour in with anything though - watercolour pencils, marker pens, aqua painters to name a few!
I also wanted to break up the white space in the background of the single bauble card so I used a technique which I have called the 'splatter' technique! For this, you need a normal ink marker pen - using the thick end of the pen, put a bit of ink into the ink cap. Then 'flick' the nip of the pen against the cap and you'll get a splatter onto your card - magic!
All products used are available to purchase in my online shop. And don't forget to enter your email at the bottom of this page so you never miss a blog post from me.
