Hi Everyone!

This month my lovely Team Leader, Tara Fowler, treated us in her team with a little treat pack - we could use what we were given in any way we wanted, our only stipulation was to share our creation with the rest of the team.

This month's pack was a little tricky - it was definitely Christmas focused thanks to the gorgeous Joyous Noel speciality paper we were given. I decided that I wanted to challenge myself to make a non-Christmas card with this very festive paper!

The piece that we were given had very cute reindeer's on one side, and snowflakes on the other. I immediately spotted that the snowflake colours matched perfectly with the Rooted in Nature paper from the Annual Catalogue - and there my inspiration came! I decided to make leaves with both papers and the copper glimmer paper, with a Happy Birthday banner. I mounted them all on some textural stamps from Rooted in Nature and Gallery Grunge as well as the beautiful Merry Merlot and Copper ribbon and the final touch was the white dots, also from my team pack.

I hope you like the result - I'm pleased with how it turned out, particularly as I struggle in general with cards suitable for men as well as women and I think this one fits that brief too!
